Juan

Juan Salamanca received the BS degree Summa Cum Laude from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Lima, Peru. He received the PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 2017. He worked as a visiting scholar in the Computing Science Department at the University of Alberta (UofA, Canada). He was a post-doctoral researcher at the São Paulo State University (Unesp, Brazil) and a visiting researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC, Spain). His research interests are in the areas of thread-level speculation, transactional memory, parallel programming, RISC-V, and code optimization.
